This year marks The Greater Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce’s 100th anniversary, and one of the special ways the Chamber will be commemorating this landmark occasion is by recognizing members who are outstanding business & community leaders. For the first time ever, the Chamber will be initiating a special Leadership Awards program that will celebrate the businesses or individuals who best represent the qualities described below for each category.
“As we embark on our 100th anniversary, the Chamber believes it is important to recognize the leadership and commitment businesses and individuals bring to the greater Marysville-Tulalip community in making it a great place to live, work and play. In June, we will present our first annual awards and give recognition to a business of the year, a business leader of the year, a volunteer of the year and an elected official of the year. Additionally, the Chamber will be awarding its first ever Howard-Millikan Chairman’s award, an award that recognizes a long standing commitment to leadership excellence.”
“The Howard-Millikan Chairman’s award is named for Mike Howard and Ian Millikan, past chairmen of the Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce, whose long standing commitment to the Chamber and leadership on business and community issues made a substantial improvement.” David Toyer, Chairman
