HomeStreet Bank Hosts Free Sales Tax Workshop for Businesses

 

 

WHAT:

Beginning July 1, 2008, Washington businesses will be required to change the way they collect and report sales tax.  HomeStreet Bank’s Marysville branch will host FREE workshops for local businesses interested in understanding the new Washington State Sales Tax rules and how to implement the changes.  The workshops will be conducted by Washington Department of Revenue employees and will focus on how the change may affect a business; what tools and services are available to help make the transition; and what assistance may be available to help with implementation costs.
