  • Comprehensive Health Care Benefits through Affiliated Associations of America: One of the most outstanding values available today in employee benefits, this program is open to businesses of two or more employees (husband and wife can qualify if both work in the business). No person or business can be denied because of health reasons.  There are four traditional plans to choose from all underwritten by Regence Blue Shield and Asuris Northwest Health, a Regence affiliate.  Coverage options include:

  • Entrepreneurial Business Development Center (EBDC) – Providing free professional business assistance, resources and classes to help members create and/or expand business plans, marketing strategies, short and long-term financial planning, and  loan procurement assistance.  Staffed by professional experts from the NW Women’s Business Center and the Small Business Administration,  the Chamber’s new Entrepreneurial Business Center will be open 9:00 to 5:00 Tuesdays through Fridays at the Chamber beginning Tuesday, April 5th.

 

  • Affiliated Associations of America Benefits (AAOA)

    All members of The Greater Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce are automatically enrolled in an outstanding benefits program that is offered through our partnership with Affiliated Associations of America.  This provides access to an extensive array of new benefits that are now included in your Chamber membership rewards - at no extra cost! 

    Our partner, Affiliated Associations of America (AAOA), has agreed to provide these valuable opportunities to all Chamber members, their employees and their immediate family members, including the full congregation of Chamber member churches, as well as the volunteer staff serving our non-profit organizations.

  • Charitable Non-Profit Contributions generated through the Business After Hours program to assist the organizations that enhance our quality of life.

 

  • Conference Room with technology infrastructure available for member and community use for a minimal $25 service fee for members, $50 for non-members.
  • Professional Staff available to assist members individually on a need by need basis.

 

4) GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATION as your pro-business advocate representing the needs of business on all governmental fronts through researching local, state, and national issues that impact business and aggressively lobbying pro-business positions.

 

  • Legislative Advocacy The Chamber identifies both “job-making” and “job-Killing” legislative bills and initiatives – aggressively lobbying on behalf of pro-business legislation and against those that could threaten or cripple business.
    • Legislative Alerts allowing members to add their voices to the lobbying efforts of the Chamber.
    • Lobbying Partnerships with key business organizations to expand our voice on critical issues.

  • Economic Development Advocacy supporting, developing and leading economic programs and/or committees that address zoning, planning, transportation and infrastructure needs designed to strengthen, promote and expand the greater Marysville Tulalip and Snohomish County area.

 

  • Leadership Roles held by The Chamber’s President/CEO on key local, county and state boards of directors enables the Chamber to be at the forefront of issues as they evolve.  Boards include:  City of Marysville Economic Campaign, Snohomish County Economic Development Council, Snohomish County Chambers Coalition, Association of Washington Business, Washington Chamber of Commerce Executives, and Association of Visitor Information Centers of Washington.

7) TAX DEDUCTIBLE MEMBERSHIP INVESTMENT allowing 85% of Chamber dues to be tax deductible (15% is non-deductible because it is directed specifically toward lobbying efforts)
