This position will manage a wide range ofcomplex government affairs assignments with a particular focus on PSEs tribal initiatives, as well as with other strategicpartners. The Manager is a seasoned public affairs professional who successfully builds relationships and coalitions with keygovernment and civic officials, executes regional government affairs strategies, provides counsel to and leadership of publicaffairs matters related to major construction projects and of other corporate initiatives, and coordinates budget activities.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelops and manages key external constituent relationships in tribal areas with key members of tribal government(council) and respective staff, businesses and non-profit communities.Represents PSE externally among tribal leaders (elected, elders, cultural heads, etc), business and industryassociations, and key stakeholder groups within tribes.Increase corporate cultural awareness through development of training and outreach programs.Regularly communicates to PSE management about potential risks and opportunities to engage with tribalcommunities.Assembles and facilitates internal project teams to address policy issues that may arise.Provides input into strategic plans with minimal oversight and executes on the plan.Provides guidance and counsel to Government Affairs and Public Policy team related to tribal and non-traditionalstakeholders.oStays connected with potential influences, federal, state, local issues and identifies opportunities and risks that mayinfluence outcomes or impacts related to PSE business.Manage external consultants, as needed, in support of PSE initiatives and risk mitigation.Resolves high-profile issues related with creative approaches.Engages with corporate initiatives as needed to ensure clear communication with external partners.Develops and manages key strategic partnerships with non-traditional stakeholders.Assists with daily management of the groups budget.Coordinates and leverages resources across the department.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Skills/AbilitiesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bac
